What do you mean by it will work in esd format??

If you mean installation yes whether esd or wim format the installation will remain fully functional

In my compact build selection the system was compressed with fully updatable and full featured functionality except for removed items said in the description. While in my superlite build also the system was compressed but not updatable since windows update was removed as I said in the description but much faster than the none superlite build.

So is there a compact(updatable) version, but also without defender, edge and onedrive? Would like to get rid of microsoft teams too.
This just might be the perfect build for me. Thank you very much for your hard work.

Yes the edition you want is included namely “WIN11 PRO + COMPACT” that edition is fully updatable and full featured build and defender, onedrive and edge removed

Is Teams also removed? If not, is there a way to remove it?

I've had problems with your previous SimpleOS, namely:
1. I couldn't enter recovery to use safe mode. Only "shut down" appears in the menu.
2. Edge automatically reinstalled itself, even if i didn't use windows update or automatic driver installer.

Are they fixed now?

As of now I don’t see edge auto installation and about recovery its also removed to all my builds except those untouched edition

If i use a separate recovery disk, is it possible to do a system restore or start in safe mode?
Edit: edge reinstalled itself after some days of using the os, not on first or second boot.

About recovery I can’t tell became I don’t use it before and about edge some builds will be auto install edge and also some no

Dont need it I already completely removed edge + applied registry tweaks to disable auto edge installation I hope thats enough to distroy edge
