For what it's worth, I installed it with no issue on this HP laptop, I have another in my shop that gets the same error message "Something went wrong" and it will not install.
The one that refuses to install did not meet the original Win 11 acceptance criteria of TPM etc. if that makes any difference.

I cannot install it... I keep on having an error saying it cannot find the path...

I tried directly launching the installer in the zip folder and extracting too. Should I mount it as an image?

you need to uninstall all previous office product 1st then do force uninstall remaining office residue & license by the option provided by the install software.

with the installation software uninstall previous office the do force uninstallation to remove remaining residue & license. then install when you are online follow the step correctly. enjoy.
