thank u so much bro
Sequence of Usethe Medicines cant detect my excel..plz help. Im using office 2010
Seems useful but as long as this, I'm using this version since I Upload it, I'm glad thank u dearThis will be a bit involved, but there is a way of resetting the trial to give you another 30 days. The issue with using a Medicines is it might call home and this is software typically used in a corporate environment and we can't use keygens in corporate environment.
You will need:
Sysinternals Procmon
voidtools Everything (install it so it indexes all files on your C: drive)
Nirsoft Regscanner
Once the software expires, load up Sysinternals Procmon. Setup the following filter:
Process Name is Excel.exe
Operation is RegQueryValue
Path begins with HKCR\CLSID
Start Excel. Alt-tab to Procmon and start capture. Click on the Kutools tab in Excel, then try a function. It will say you have 3 more times to use that feature, then it will count down to 0. Go back to ProcMon and look at the trace (stop capture at this point).
What you will see is something like
HKCR\CLSID\{C90659C9-DD28-6AA2-F00B-75988AABF9B}\InProcServer32\(Default) and in the details pane, you will see a long string of numbers. This is the date that it was installed on. BTW, the value after CLSID is totally random, but the date information will always be in some key HKCR\CLSID\{some_big_hex_number}\InProcServer32\Default.
Jump to this registry key from ProcMon so it loads in RegEdit. Now close Excel. Remove Kutools from Add/Remove programs. Go into Everything and search for Kutools. Remove everything found except for KutoolsforExcelsetup.exe (so you can reinstall it)
Remove the HKCR\CLSID\... key above in RegEdit, and all Kutools and ExtendOffice keys under HKCU\Software. Launch Regscanner and search for Kutools. Remove anything found (except if it comes up with Session Manager\AppCompatCache, leave that one alone). You might have to have it jump to RegEdit with the F8 key to delete keys (sometimes it won't delete keys directly in RegScanner).
Now reinstall Kutools for Excel. You should have another 30 day trial.
If you don't want to do all that, but want a "quick" fix, I also found where it stores the "3 more times" countdown limit. That's under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows Error Reporting\Hangs. Look for an entry that starts with XDF. If you delete that entry, you get 3 more times to use any Kutools function even if it's expired. You can do this indefinitely to get 3 more tries in it's expired state.
I just tried deleting the HKCR\CLSID and other keys under HKCU\Software without removing Kutools for Excel, but it just resets the trial end date to today's date, so somewhere it's still reading the install date unless you remove the whole thing using the process above. This process was tested on version 22, I would guess it works the same for older and newer versions.
