You wrote a book for no reason ^w^ !
anyway , we use Nlite to add updates to the ISO ...
Ha, not even close to a tome. >>

I had assumed most of the XP OS posters here were using Nlite (at least partially) as the removal listings are very much Nlite. The alternate would be RVMi or even more old school integration tools and a lot of work.
It is a pity that the nLITE .ini in not included in the root of the distribution ISOs.
I just didn't know whether people were using the update packs, for instance User Hidden's QFE pack, 5ereph's XPSP3 QFE POSReady Updates 20180917, and then integrating the final 40 or so updates, using OnePiece's addon and a lot of work, or whether they were integrating all the separate updates (either from WSUS, etc, or online) on top of SP3.
I don't use unofficial SP4, no offense to the author who undertook such a mammoth project, I tried SP4.1A and earlier some time ago and had mixed results, probabky down to me. I was considering trying out SP4.1B with the post SP4.1B addon but my one attempt crashed as I was doing the no-no of running the project through Nlite twice, despite the warnings it usually works out, not this time - ohh well.
Still not close to even a small monograph let alone a tome. >< :-O>
