As 2023 draws to a close, Microsoft is preparing for the next big update for Windows 11, “Moment 5”, and we now know that it will be deployed next February.
We should also note that the Windows 11 widget table should become more useful thanks to the introduction of add-ons for third-party information sources, providing a richer and more diverse flow of information. Users will also have the option to turn off the News Feed if they prefer a simplified widget experience.
For those with accessibility needs, Moment 5 is expected to bring expanded support for Windows 11's Voice Access service. The service is said to support multiple languages, including French (France), French (Canada), German, Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Mexico). In addition, Voice Access will be optimized for configurations with multiple displays, making it more versatile and more suitable for users with different needs. Voice shortcuts will also be introduced, allowing users to effortlessly navigate their PC using just a microphone.
Finally, further improvements are expected to come to Nearby Share, which will now use PC names to make devices easier to identify when sharing items. Copilot, the assistant equipped with artificial intelligence, will also become more flexible, in particular by allowing users to move it around the screen.

WHAT NEW FEATURES FOR WINDOWS 11 MOMENT 5 ?!?
Like Moment 4 before it, the new Moment 5 version will bring a whole host of new features to the operating system, and most of them are already available to members of the Insider program. Here are all the main new features that we expect from the start of next year.THE DIGITAL PEN WILL BE BETTER INTEGRATED INTO WINDOWS 11
One of the biggest features of Moment 5 would be the integration of digital pen support into text boxes, giving users a more versatile and interactive way to interact with the operating system. If your computer has a touch screen, then you will be able to use a stylus to write in all search areas on the system. Additionally, Windows 11 users will have the option to customize the search engine in the Windows search box.
WINDOWS 11 WILL ALLOW YOU TO UNINSTALL EVEN MORE APPLICATIONS
Moment 5 should also tackle built-in apps by allowing users to uninstall more of them. This new feature is necessary to comply with the DMA (Digital Market Act), and we therefore expect that Windows 11 will finally allow you to uninstall Cortana, Camera, Photos, and even Edge. This would therefore be a first and excellent news for those who use another browser. Currently, the only way to uninstall Edge is through a tool called Vivetool, but using it can be complicated for some users.
WIDGETS WILL BECOME EVEN MORE PRACTICAL
We should also note that the Windows 11 widget table should become more useful thanks to the introduction of add-ons for third-party information sources, providing a richer and more diverse flow of information. Users will also have the option to turn off the News Feed if they prefer a simplified widget experience.
MICROSOFT IMPROVES ACCESSIBILITY ON WINDOWS 11

The service is said to support multiple languages, including French (France), French (Canada), German, Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Mexico). In addition, Voice Access will be optimized for configurations with multiple displays, making it more versatile and more suitable for users with different needs. Voice shortcuts will also be introduced, allowing users to effortlessly navigate their PC using just a microphone.
NEARBY SHARE AND COPILOT WILL BE ENTITLED TO IMPROVEMENTS
Finally, further improvements are expected to come to Nearby Share, which will now use PC names to make devices easier to identify when sharing items. Copilot, the assistant equipped with artificial intelligence, will also become more flexible, in particular by allowing users to move it around the screen.
