Hi,
Just want to say thanks to anyone who replies in advance. I am having trouble when re-installing windows 10 home on an Asus x553s notebook computer. The trouble is that installation will usually proceed as normal everything will boot up, taking ages to do so but hard drive always seems to be at 100% utilisation constantly. There were driver problems but even with these sorted out it seems to be almost unresponsive all of the time. The HDD itself does seem to be making something of a mechanical clicking, not the usual noise, often more as if it's stuck and under Gparted there were read/write errors at certain sectors.
Many Thanks again in advance!
