Textify is a simple application designed to allow user to copy text from a dialogue box which does not provide such functionality. User need to point its mouse over the text, click on the mouse shortcut (Shift + Middle click by default), and get a selectable view of the text. The tool is perfect for extracting that otherwise un-extractable text from a dialogue box.

Textify comes in handy when user need to research a specific warning from a popup box for instance and want to do it fast and easy without retyping the entire bit of text. Simply point mouse over the text, click the mouse shortcut (Shift + Middle click by default), and get a selectable view of the text - easy as that. Textify can also be launched with a hidden window by using the - hidewnd command line switch.

What is new in version 1.8 (Released on November 07, 2019):

Improve web buttons to support launching the default browser in a popup, and other web button improvements;
Setup: backup old ini file on update;
Update checker.

What is new in version 1.7 (Released on October 26, 2019):

In-app configuration file editor;
Improved per-monitor DPI handling;
If no text was found, Textify now tries the parent element until something is found. This fixes querying Chrome tab titles.

OS: Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® 7, Windows® 8, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 10 (both 32 & 64-bit).
