I tried using the key in teracopy 3.6.0.4 that I downloaded from this website and the 1st time I ran the program, the key entered but it didn't change to teracopy pro, nothing changed, the program remained in the free version. After closing teracopy and restarting my computer and re-entering the key, I got an error message:

Cannot save license file to C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Teracopy\license

I have tried deleting license file and reinserting the key but the same problem occurs. I have made sure there are no read-only files/folders inside the teracopy folder too. I am having the same problem in my desktop computer and also another laptop. I have also tried uninstalling teracopy using Revo Uninstaller pro 5.0.6 (free version) and also IObit Uninstaller 12.0.0.10 free version. There seems to be a problem with uninstalling completely teracopy version 3.6.0.4.

[update] - oddly enough when I uninstalled 3.6.0.4 and installed teracopy pro 3.5 RC then it became pro version. So it seems this key on this website, doesn't work with version 3.6.0.4 OR people have to specifically tell what circumstances version 3.6.0.4 worked for them. i am running windows 10 home 21H2 and all windows updates have been installed (as of September 20, 2022).

Thnx for the update. Been using this app since 1.26. Largest file transfer was 4tb took 1 day USB 3.0. avg speed, 130mb. never crashed once.

How did you transfer that big of a file? I am using the 3.6 version (I could not get activation to work) and it fails after transferring 390 MB What the heck is going on with this software. It used to work fine before
