Sidify Music Converter is a lightweight and straightforward piece of software designed to help a user download favorite tracks and playlists from Spotify, overcome the restrictions imposed by DRM protection, and keeps the original quality of the audio. After removing DRM, you can enjoy Spotify music on your iPod, iPhone, Zune, PSP, MP3 player, etc.

The tool packs a fresh and appealing interface that is easy to navigate and unlikely to give a user any troubles. Users can get started by pasting or dragging and dropping the link of the track or playlist in the dedicated window. The tool immediately displays the contents in the main window, along with the total number of files and duration. It is also worth mentioning that the app also displays a message for each successful and erroneous conversion.

The idea behind the application is to provide a user with an easy way to download favorite tracks or playlists from Spotify to a computer, regardless of whether they are protected by DRM. Therefore, the user is going to be able to enjoy favorite artists without having to worry about restrictions and be able to enjoy Spotify music in offline mode as well.

Yes you still get banned once spotify recognise you are downloading and not streaming. However, if you open a free spotify account using a made up email and link that to sidify, then if you get banned there is no issue you just use another email. With Spotify you don't even have to validate the email so it does not even need to exist.

Then I'd have to logout of my desktop client, because it opens the desktop client when I try to DL through Sidify

And just a heads up, you can't download hi-res audio with the free version. just the normal quality it gives you which i believe is 160 or 190kbps.

Update:

Used this several times but today, it says the Trial expired and is now limited to 1 minute per track only.

I was able to make it work on my laptop, upgraded to 2.6.9. Checked the update again and the latest one is 3.1.1 but is not able to update. Downloaded the update but won't update at all.
Hoping the latest one will be uploaded again.

damm sidify keeps closing my Spotify so i guess they are on to this or what else would it be
