I will share my method, which has been running since march 2022.
Download a program called onelickfirewall from winaero.
Goto c:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks 2021\ - in search bar search for all .exe files and just right click them and click block internet connection, remember to do this after installing and internet disconnected.
Then no issue having to block all and then whitelist with tinywall.

its work , but after time when change mode or closed onelickfirewall it will expire again quickbooks in 14 days , need again to delete quickbooks and delete all related from registery editor ( u can use IObit Uninstaller )

It will only connect if windows defender is turned off, as oneclickfirewall is just a quicker method to adding firewall rule to Windows defender. So no it would not.

using it in a 5user multi-user setup, just installed tinywall on the server and all client machines, i then "enabled lan" and added chrome,firefox as exceptions so that they they are the only applications accessing the internet. 1.5 years so far without issues

Since today I'm getting an error message : "QuickBooks Desktop has reached the expiration date and will no longer open company files."

Have tried fresh install, wiping registry.
I have blocked all .exes via firewall.


Please help

delete intuit folder under c:/program data/intuit and c:/users/admin/appdata/intuit; reinstall quickbooks and problem fixed. remember to disable updates and block it from accessing internet

This version is probably the most used quickbooks version in the world. you find someone living just next to the ocean in a remote place and they call to ask for support cos quickbooks has expired. Lo and behold its this specific version. i am really amazed.
