Hi Nicky, can I ask how to install the Chinese keyboard on the OS? I tried adding it via the keyboard settings but it won't allow me to type using the Microsoft Pinyin input method

It's working fine with Chinese Input.

Hi. Downloaded, installed and tested.
I use french language.
I added it as display language then I removed english.
I always install ESET Smart Security 8.
I use Adobe acrobat, Photoshop and Premiere.
I use BRAVE as browser.
I use ACRONIS to backup on tapes.
I use serva to remotely install on a Lan. everything works very well

Sorry, I still cannot get the Microsoft Pinyin input to work It shows several dots below they typed word, but nothing else. It should normally show candidate words based on what I typed, and no matter what I do I cannot make it to produce any Chinese Characters. I've tried Simplified China, Simplified Singapore, all the same

I have never had such problems with Nicky's release. 中文一直很好用！！！




However, recently I tried use use this version for Surface Pro 7, encountered two issues so far....

1 - screen would not rotate (automatically) ......
2 - the on screen touch keyboard would not respond at all.....

Well I managed to get a workaround by using Google Pinyin IME, better than not being able to type in Chinese hehe. All other aspects of the OS are perfect

go to Device Manager & check first if you installed the proper drivers
Chipsets, Mobo & GPU drivers

If you are on laptop
check the Fn key + F10 or Fn + F3

this error is related to DisplaySwitch.exe under c:\windows\system32
check if you have that and what version

Hi, I already find out, I just installed graphics driver using driver booster. My problem now is, this long black screen before the login screen of windows. Already tried different solutions from internet e.g. update/rollback drivers, windows update, and turning off fast boot but it still here. Anyway, thank you very much for your effort.

Hi, I already find out, I just installed graphics driver using driver booster. My problem now is, this long black screen before the login screen of windows. Already tried different solutions from internet e.g. update/rollback drivers, windows update, and turning off fast boot but it still here. Anyway, thank you very much for your effort.

The Long Black Screen before login is due to one of 3

1. Improper SATA driver
2. Improper Graphics driver
3. Since it is a light build @By Nicky may removed FastBoot, Restoring it no longer boot fast !
(This is one of the sh*t provided by Win 10 since enabling fastboot causes driver issues at any time even your good working wifi driver won't work suddenly | works only after a complete restart)

I reccomend you not to update driver using driver booster / similar apps, Manually download driver from your provider site ! ( That is always best what what hardware they given)

I already did all of that and none of them works. I ended up using back to version 1 of Windows Note 10 Slim. Thank you very much.
