it's not an "ePDF" .... the extension is ".PDFe" .... unsupported file says :'( :'(

I will .... but, honestly speaking I don't think Foxit can dissolve the DRM from the file ... but still will download it and give it a try ....

It's too new, there's no public info. Pdf expiry is not so widely used yet to make specialized people have interest in how it works exactly.
If it can be viewed, it can be screenshotted. With OCR (ABBYY FineReader PDF) you can make the picture editable.

Google told me this (which may or may not be correct):

Here are some of the ways you can convert PDFe to PDF:

  • Use an online PDF converter. There are many free and paid online PDF converters that can convert PDFE to PDF. Some of the popular ones include:
    • Smallpdf: https://smallpdf.com/pdf-converter
    • iLovePDF: https://www.ilovepdf.com/
    • PDF2Go: https://www.pdf2go.com/convert-to-pdf
    • Adobe Acrobat Online: https://www.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/online/convert-pdf.html
  • Use a PDF editor. If you have a PDF editor installed on your computer, you can use it to convert PDFE to PDF. Some of the popular PDF editors include:
    • Adobe Acrobat Pro
    • Foxit PhantomPDF
    • Nitro PDF
    • PDFelement
  • Use the command line. If you're comfortable using the command line, you can use the pdftopdf command to convert PDFE to PDF.
Here are the steps on how to use the pdftopdf command to convert PDFE to PDF:

  1. Open a terminal window.
  2. Navigate to the directory where the PDFE file is located.
  3. Run the following command:
pdftopdf -f pdfe -o pdf input.pdfe
Replace input.pdfe with the name of your PDFE file.

The output PDF file will be saved in the same directory as the input PDFE file.

You need a suitable software like Encapsulated Portable Document Format to open an EPDF file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your EPDF file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application.

@Wichestery2k don't bother, only i can convert epdf :giggle:

An epdf Encapsulated Portable Document Format file is a special file format and should only be edited and saved with the appropriate software.

I sent him a pm and he should send me his epdf!!!

@hanchya

It's not hard to find a PDF reader that support PDFE.
If the owner of the files wants you to view them then I'm sure that they'll help you and give you the necessary passwords.
