Locked Need a help with Windows Defender

Is there any method to update Windows Defender definitions while Windows Update (along-with its service) is disabled? Updating directly from Windows Security doesn't seem to work probably because its tied completely to Windows Update. With Microsoft pushing preview .NET & cumulative updates, I am all but done with auto updating.. Is there any 3rd party tool or sth that'll download straight from MS? I am aware of the downloadable offline definition update but it's cumbersome to do that everyday manually..

I need to install only the Defender definition updates.. Is there any way to do that? Like a Defender updater tool like there are Windows updating tools.. I don't want to enable updates because it's pushing preview updates?

Press the Windows Key + X and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin)

Copy and paste the following line
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Client\mpcmdrun.exe" SignatureUpdate

Hope it works on your system cause a lot depends on how things got disabled.

we DONT.DENIY BULLSHIT. If we did there would be no reason.to have H&R. Leave it now and see if there is solution.
