Macrorit Data Wiper (a.k.a Macrorit Disk Partition Wiper) is a straightforward and user-friendly tool for entirely and permanently destroying/erasing data from the hard disk drive or partition. It is a comprehensive utility that promises to help user wipe clean entire drives, disks, and partitions, as well as USB drives or other types of external storage devices with a minimum amount of hassle involved.

It achieves this by employing powerful algorithms and comprehensive wiping techniques to ensure that the data user intends to wipe stays that way – permanently. Macrorit Data Wiper is a one-stop toolkit for secure erasing data, partitions and disks. Besides the data above destruction modes, the utility also offers some security-related features as it allows a user to fill wiped sectors with zero, one or zero and one. Regarding data destruction, the user is presented with two main options: DoD 5220.22-M (3 passes) and the more powerful DoD 5220.28-STD (7 passes).

The application supports all popular Windows file systems: FAT16/32, NTFS, Ext2/3/4, ReFS, Apple HFS+ and other file systems.
