Insofta Cover Commander allows users to create covers for books, discs, boxes, or cards using predefined projects or custom sizes. Since the online space also became a robust marketplace, it is a good idea to have proper, impressive product designs, so individuals get a good idea of what they are about to purchase. Luckily, such compositions can easily be created with the help of specialized applications like Insofta Cover Commander.
The application starts with a splash screen, which gives users an idea of what can accomplish while offering choices to start a new project from scratch, work on existing ones, or use the wizard steps to effortlessly and quickly build a personal project. The interface is pretty intuitive, with a sizeable interactive preview area, and tabbed properties and object selection panel for easy navigation.
The application comes with an impressive variety of preset products to start from, ranging from regular boxes, books, and CDs, to high-fidelity representations of popular mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and computers. All objects are rendered in 3D, with the possibility to rotate and zoom in the preview section. Choosing the object of interest is the first step. It is then up to you to go through a variety of properties to manage the design, camera, and position, light, shadow, reflection, as well as specialized textures and colors. For instance, displays and phone screens can be fitted with custom pictures, or the background made transparently.
Export options are also to the user's advantage. With two options, the user can either save a static image or build animations. Picture formats come as PNG, JPG, GIF, and BMP, with configurable size specifications. As far as animations go, users can generate an AVI, SWF, or GIF file, depicting rotation of the camera or object itself.
Insofta Cover Commander is the type of application to use to create a professional representation of products to include in the user's online store or only as aesthetic enhancements. A great variety of preset objects can be used, multiple properties to manage, and different export possibilities to meet most types of demands.
- Compose a scene from several 3D objects;
- 3D mockups: 3D text, 3D primitives (Sphere, Cylinder, Cone, Pyramid, Cube), Box, Box with a disc, Disc, Screenshot, Curved screenshot, DVD box, DVD box with a drive, Book, Softcover book, Business card, Brochure, Flyer, Plastic Card, Book with rounded corners, Manual, Vista box, Spiral book, Laptop, iPad Pro, iPhone X/6s/SE/5c, iMac, Samsung Galaxy S6, Nexus 9, iPad 2/3/4 with cover, Display, Blu-ray box, Blu-ray with a disc, Monitor, TV, CD box, CD box with the drive;
- Let the built-in wizards do the dirty work for you and focus on the artistic details of the cover;
- Create multiple projects, parse multiple images - with a single command (batch mode);
- Save the resulting image with transparent background and use the picture for the complex web or print designs;
- Save the light, shadow, and reflection settings under a unique name and use those settings in other projects;
- Set the result image size (up to 4000 x 4000) and margins in pixels;
- Draw customer's attention with an animated (GIF, SWF, AVI) box, cover or screenshot;
- Do not pay more than what it costs to create a great cover. Create additional covers at no cost at all.

- New 3D model added: 3D Primitives: Prism. The number of faces is configurable. For example, user can make a hexagonal box;
- Added a new tool Batch Processing. Using it, you can process all projects in a folder with a couple of clicks or apply different covers to one project (for example, for a book catalog);
- Textures of up to 8192 x 8192 pixels are supported. Useful for creating images for printing;
- Added new option Center of the scene in the center ... for Save Image and Save Animation dialogs. With it, you can save an image in which the book or box will be in the center, regardless of the shadow (without additional padding settings);
- Added new parameters and fixed some bugs in Command line;
- User can now change the Background color of the preview pane if a transparent background is selected in the project;
- Added Texture menu to the main menu;
- Several minor bugs fixed.

- Added support for color profiles for TIFF and JPEG in CMYK mode;
- A Gradient can now be set as a texture;
- Improved color picker: added Eyedropper tool, color editing in HEX format;
- Few minor interface improvements;
- Fixed a variety of small bugs.

- Added support for Asian languages for 3D text (Japanese, Chinese, Korean);
- Added Minimal White and Minimal Dark styles for devices;
- Added a status bar in the internal image viewer;

- Fixed several bugs.
