We dont do recomendations as it would not be fair to the rest of the uploaders if we single one out. Read the descriptions, see what they offer, what is included, and what has been removed, and make your own decision. After all, OSes are "free" here, so if one won't do it, you can always download a different OS and try. I would also advise not to ask for "best" as there is no objective "best". 100 people will give 100 different opinions and they all can be equally right and wrong cause it depends on needs, post-install settings, hardware, how experienced each person is, etc. In general go for lite builds or builds that state gaming, preferably the latest versions if you have kinda current hardware. Alternatively, give a try to windows LTSC (or even LTSB if your hardware is old).

Keep in mind for emulation and gaming in general, is not so much about the OS but the hardware you have. A decent graphic card and 6 cores+ CPU will do more than the OS would. Also, in future requests, always state your hardware. Different hardware has different needs and asks for a different approach.

I will leave this thread open, in case someone has more general advice, but if it spirals out of control, we will close it.

Good luck.
