PrivaZer is a free cleanup utility that helps a user to master security over his PC. The app has been designed to permanently and irretrievably erase unwanted traces of user past activity on computer and storage devices such as USB keys and external drives. It prevents others from retrieving what the user has watched, streamed, or visited on the Internet. PrivaZer scans user computer and provides him with a complete report of all Internet traces that can be found on PC. A user can then review the results in detail and choose to erase it from user HDD securely.
It also provides a more in-depth cleanup of valuable hard disk space and keeps user PC running securely. PrivaZer automatically recognizes a user storage device type and adapts its smart overwriting algorithms to the storage medium (magnetic disk, SSD, etc.). As the app performs through scans, it includes current traces such as registry, Internet history, and cookies. It can also look for potential traces in user free disk space sectors as well. PrivaZer can permanently erase all traces using secure deletion methods and reset disk sectors to zero to eliminate all traces from previous operations (privacy protection). Depending upon the size of the HDD and the amount of data, the initial scan and cleaning process can take a while. Other features include scheduled cleanings, automatic registry backups, deletion of USB history, support for removable drives and USB keys, etc.

- Visualization during the full scan of the drive to retrieve remaining thumbs.db files and show their content;
- The scan of residual traces of deleted files still indexed by Windows™ Indexing Service.
