Firstly, I want to say thank you for all the people who tried to assist me in, completing my mission to get my two (2) HDD's fixed and one of my USB sticks.
It came to my attention, that I was misunderstood by my posting. Therefore I'm apologising. To those of the staff that felt I offended them, by my posting in the chat, whereby it was stated to me, "this is a chat forum, not a Help line" . I also apologised to.
I guess my mind got the better of me, when I realized I might have lost all my important information on my HDD'S and my USB stick. I sincerely apologises to whoever, might have felt offended, and for my mistakes I have made.
If I'm allowed to, I would deeply appreciate it, if I can clarify what the problem is, that I'm facing.
Please note, I will not use date and time as of presence.
I have a computer box, that have two (2) HDD'S in them, namely a 1.5TB (1500MB) Barracuda, and a Toshiba 1TB (1000MB).
I ran my operating system (Windows 7) from the Toshiba and I was going to use the Barracuda HDD to store my movies, music, software, games etc.
All my movies, games, software and music was still present on my Toshiba. What I did to re-install my operating system, was to move my music, software, games and movies to the Barracuda. (It's obvious, so that I don't loose anything, and can then restore some of the games, music, software and movies, back onto the Toshiba, after the re-install).
The procedure that I used, was the "Cut and Copy" Cut from the Toshiba, and Paste on the Barracuda.
So I went on to Formatting the Toshiba, and did a clean install of Windows 7. I noticed after the installation of windows, the Barracuda HDD, didn't pick up or installed itself. I took The Barracuda out of my box (tower) and tried every method possible, to get the drive spinning again. It eventually ended up to no success at all.
What I want to know is: After I have done the "cut" of my software, music, movies and games, and "pasted" it to the Barracuda, is there any change of me getting the movies, music, software and games back on my Toshiba as before I "cut" it and "pasted" it to the Barracuda?
I'm sorry if I wasn't more clear on my posting.
I would deeply appreciated it if someone can assist me.
Thanks to all the members of Teamos, for the wonderful work you do. I'm not here to waste your time.
Regards
Jason
