fx-Calc is a lightweight, yet very efficient and one of the most advanced desktop calculators for Windows designed from the ground up to help the user define, analyze, visualize and calculate scientific or mathematical functions and tasks, as well as perform linear regressions. The biggest advantage is the simple and intuitive handling of complex mathematical tasks. Even if the Window concept may not look advanced, it provides the big advantage of opening similar windows multiple times to compare the results as needed.
Starting with a familiar calculator window, it allows calculating self-defined functions, sums, and products. A user can perform complex integrations, linear regressions and plot trigonometric functions in three dimensions using this simple application. It takes, for instance, a few clicks to run the Leibnitz iteration to calculate Pi. One of the best things about this utility is the fact that it can provide a user with a function analysis combined with a graphic result presentation, thus providing a user with a clear understanding of the results. Also noteworthy are fx-Calc's syntax highlighting engine that helps a user keep mathematical expressions in check and its integrated libraries for scientific constants and functions.
fx-Calc lets the user define, analyze, visualize and calculate scientific functions and is a full-featured replacement and/or enhancement of the old-fashioned Windows calculator. In addition to calculation and visualization user can analyze and solve scientific functions and perform linear regression.
