Thanks for sharing the worlds best antivirus...
It gets installed flawless
But after few days it ask for license and sometimes for username and password and the update module doesn't work..
In that case what can be done please let me know the remedy...

Found a solution
DL this config, it’s just an XML file with eset settings for the update server.
Outside Link Removed
then in eset go to Setup > import settings and choose the cfg.xml file.
Now it works again!! Love to whoever runs this server

Hoping I don't jinx my self, but I ran this app and had the same problem I removed it and ran AVG free just to have an antivirus while I found a decent alternative the apparently free version is only yours for a limited time ? I got the warning for 7 days, I know sounds like a trial, but it was the free version
I removed using their uninstaller, decided to give ESET another try, opened the file and installed via CMD. Gave it a minute to do its job anyway, no sign of ESET, wondered what If had done job correctly .
Checked apps there it was and already running first scan, Brilliant ...

AVG and Avast use the same detection engine. Free Avast is free forever. I have been using it for many years. I expect the same is true for AVG.

I have no reason to complain about either Avast or AVG, only to say the 7 days left message I got from the AVG app prompted me to give this ESET app another try as I said I didn't install from the EXE I used the cmd install, and it's working now . Fingers crossed
in the last 20 odd years I have used many Antivirus programs including AVG and Avast

yeah.... i uninstalled endpoint security and then installed smart security
But smart security isn't working...
same update problem

have imported xml file through setup but its of no use...
still getting the same error
