It is worth mentioning that you can turn off the antivirus without the help of third-party tools via the Settings. Then again, not many want to wander on that path, especially since it entails making some changes in the Edit Group Policy, which not all of us are comfortable making.

yeah i accidently ran windows update and that installed... spent a few hrs searching to disable via registray or from the control panel but thats not a perma option... thanks so muchhhhhhhhh XDD

wat? i wanted to find a simple solution to disable Update for Windows Security platform antimalware platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2402.27001). searched on the web . and u gotta go get gritty with group policy and stuff etc . .. saves alot of time
