Locked Convert .AAX to .MP3 possible ?

I am looking for a way to convert Amazon Audible files .AAX to .MP3 - I see a lot of programs via google that says they do it, but they all have limitations or just don't work. Most also want your Audible code in order to make the conversion, but I am no longer a member of audible so I don't have an active code, but I do have a lot of books THAT I PAID FOR, and I can not read due to the .aax extension. - I guess what I am looking for really is just some way to play my .AAX (Audible) books on my PC or Android, but would LOVE to be able to convert them also to MP3.

Thank you to all who replied. For what it is worth, I did google this before posting here, and the first 4 options I found did not work. So thank you for the other suggestions you guys gave me.
