I got exactly the same error. Need help please!

I also go the same error message, and tried the suggestions above. I have a working 3ds max install that I don't want to mess up, so have given up for now.

I did have to downgrade the autodesk license daemon, which somehow auto-updated, had to unpick bits and pieces and clean that.

I think going forwards, I might put everything into VMs with zero internet access.

Having an install failure very early in the set up may be an interruption caused by antivirus setting or the setup.exe file needs to be run as administrator. Try disabling the av and run setup.exe as admin. If there has already been a failure, clean out the temp folder before re-running the setup.exe:

1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run command.
2. Type “%temp%” in the search field and press OK.
3. Select all files using ctrl + A and then press delete.

I also disconnect the internet and extract the iso to a C drive and run the setup from there.

click option use network license on the right click SELECT

After running the setup.exe file and choosing the english language i get an error message " cannot find the specified file ...../updates/SetEn.exe

I have the same problem and when i open first SetEn.exe i have Erro 4000 ...

I fixed the problem by removing Autocad in the ProgramData folder know i s working !

First you mount ISO then run setup file.. 2-3 times you may get error...after that you u can install.... but in my case, it worked for 2 days after that getting error that network license not available.

My computer freezes every 10-15 minutes, and very often leads to BSOD.
The computer is a Dell precision 5520, 5 years old. RAM 32GB, video card is M1200 nvidia.
Since the computer is old, I thought it would start to fail, but it didn't.
After 4 sleepless nights, trying all the drivers, ... the solution is simple.
It is necessary to perform a complete removal of CAD according to the instructions on the page

then I returned ACAD 2022 and now everything is fine.
It is not my intention to dispute someone's work and effort, I am waiting for a new update.

New guy late to the party, super propz to OP for the time of a share. TY!

Update: As luck would have it my 2018 version was flagged today. The 2023 install was real easy and blocked the ACAD and adskflex.exe files as mentioned above. Did a restart and on opening CAD again, got the 'Network License not available' message. Went to the task manager and see there are license manager files still active. Checked the file path location and these are copies of the license manager .exe files in separate folders within the Network License Manager file. They are located in two numbered folders (##.#.##) within the NLM file. Added these files to the firewall block and re-applied the medicine, have done a couple system restarts with CAD opening properly so far. Really appreciate the share and the member posts. TY!
