on the new build, this exe has vanished, nowhere can be found. instread, new worries have emerged. Cheers.

Several anti-virus apps flag this as malware because of "Application.Deceptor.AmanVPN.C".
Go to this page https://customer.appesteem.com/deceptors and search for "Aman" to find out why.
Then decide for yourself if you want to continue to use this VPN.

EDIT:
Further investigation shows that some of the IPs that this app accesses are associated with Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co. Ltd.
Personally, I wouldn't use the words "Chinese" and "Security" in the same sentance.

On the very same PC, I have other TWO VPNs installed, none of these two is red-flagged by AV. My rule of thumb of using any app IS---to use it when it can be trusted, otherwise throw it to recycle dumpster. Cheers.
