AlterPDF is a lightweight software solution for all of user PDF-related needs. The application allows users to convert PDF files to images and vice-versa, extract text, images, merge or split multiple PDF files, rotate, crop, extract or remove pages, as well as offering encryption, decryption, and metadata change services. All features seem to work to their fullest, with no apparent data loss or corruption resulting from any of the tests performed.

AlterPDF impresses at first glance with how well it behaves, how simple and intuitive it looks, and the sheer amount of features it offers. It is an excellent solution for when a user has PDF files on its hands. AlterPDF is a program user should consider trying since it manages to bring all the tools that may ever need it as a novice user.

• Convert images to PDF - Convert JPG to PDF, convert BMP to PDF;

• Merge PDF - Join multiple PDF files into the single document;
• Split PDF - Split PDF document to multiple files;
• Rotate pages - Rotate desired pages in the PDF document and save as a new file;
• Crop PDF pages - Cut a rectangular area on every page of PDF, and saves the result to the new document;
• Extract pages from PDF - Extract selected pages of PDF document and saves as individual PDF files;
• Remove pages from PDF - Choose what pages to remove from PDF;
• Encrypt PDF - Password-protect any PDF document and to set user permissions;
• Decrypt password-protected PDF documents;
• Change PDF metadata - Set the information in PDF files, such as Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, and other fields;
