The Bat! is a secure desktop email client for Windows, built to protect user correspondence against third-parties. The client protects user information through multiple encryption streams, with the option to keep all information encrypted on its disk and to protect emails during communication using end-to-end encryption (E2EE). The Bat! can work without global email providers that keep user messages in the cloud, where they can be stolen. The Bat! saves user emails on a computer to make them private. The application blocks malicious code and tracking pixels that spread via email.
The Bat! email program can process and store an unlimited number of messages. It has no restriction on the number of email accounts accessible via IMAP, POP, MAPI protocols. The Bat! is a perfect multiple email account manager that allows users to access all its email accounts in one place quickly. The Bat! is a safe, robust, and reliable mail application. It handles extensive message bases quickly and with a small memory footprint.
The MailTicker™ is, without doubt, one of the most powerful features of The Bat!. The MailTicker™ adds a visual indicator to user desktop similar to those stock exchange banners user may know from specific TV news channels. It shows unread messages, as defined by a set of simple options a user can choose from. It makes The Bat! the best mail app for Windows.
The Bat! Voyager is a portable email client software which user can launch from any USB or portable media on any computer running Microsoft Windows. The Bat! Voyager lets users safely send and receive messages, store personal user templates, and protects user email data from viruses and malware. With the ability to run from a USB-drive, or an IDE converter, The Bat! Voyager harnesses the security features of The Bat! and allows users to take them anywhere.
The Bat! Voyager, utilizes message base encryption and is password-protected to keep user private data private. No information is left on the computer user are using. Even if a user's flash drive is lost or stolen - the privacy of its data is guaranteed. To ensure all loss is a cheap memory drive, user emails and data are encrypted. - The Bat! QR Code generator now includes an ECI block to indicate that the text has UTF-8 encoding for those texts that could not be encoded with Kanji or ISO-8859-1 (Latin-1) encoding, for example, Greek or Cyrillic characters separated by spaces or Unicode emoji characters.
- The Bat! did require "Key Encipherment" or "Key Agreement" in the "Key Usage" certificate attribute for TLS even if the certificate was only used to sign ephemeral keys to provide perfect forward secrecy. If a server only supports perfect forward secrecy TLS cipher suites, the certificate used by this server may have no "Key Encipherment" or "Key Agreement" in the "Key Usage" attribute;
- The Bat! QR Code generator did not support Kanji character set;
- (#0001785) Ctrl+mouse wheel does not zoom in/out in the "plain text" editor and "Windows editor";
- (#0001972) The message popup menu does not contain the option "Test filters";
- Added showing of secondary shortcuts (if a popup or menu item has two shortcuts);
- Fixed toolbar position after loading;
- Fixed order of items in popup menus;
- Added possibility to put toolbars to the right of the main menu;
- Fixed deletion of customized sub-menus (tags, colors, etc.)
- The official website does not provide any information about this release at the moment.
System requirements:
OS: Microsoft Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® 7, Windows® 8, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 10.
There are no minimum requirements for memory size or CPU speed;
It runs on any Windows PC desktop and tablet platform.
Install notes:
1. Run the executable file or command-line interpreter program for silent installation;

Repack features:
- Combined installation of the repack and portable in one distribution package (PortableApps format version);
- The choice of bit capacity is automatic, but the ability to force x86 version installation is added on x64 system (for sharing MS Outlook x86);
