Does anyone has managed to setup PDM client?
I would like to version my own files, so only myself with "this" version of solidworks
I was able to setup a PDM server, but when I try to connect to it with the PDM client it asks me for a license. The readme.txt warns "DO NOT install SolidNetwork License Server", so I didn't...

Thanx a lot for the REPACK. I had trouble with some modules that use internet in previous versions, and blocked them with firewalls, but if this version is "CURED", is much better .

I can't seem to get Solidworks to install. Here's what I'm doing:

1. Disable my internet connection.
2. Mount the included .iso
3. Run the DS SolidWorks.exe file that is located in the .iso
4. Remove flexnet when prompted by the cured installer
5. Choose "Install on this computer"
6. Leave all available packages (i.e. 3D Design, Visualization, Simulation, etc.) checked
7. Leave all serial numbers unchanged.
8. Select "cancel" when the installation manager explains that it "Could not connecto the SolidWorks server"
9. Disable background downloader in the Download Options
10. Press Install Now
11. Press cancel when the installation manager tells me to specify the port number and server name for the SolidNetWork License server
12. Select Yes when the installation manager asks me if I want to continue without a valid SNL server.
13. Receive an error that reads "SolidWorks Electrical is unable to connect to the SQL Server"

What else am I supposed to do here? The instructions don't elaborate any further. Am I supposed to do something with the files that are named "Restoring Network.cmd" and "Server Remove.cmd"?

If I edit the installation options for Electrical, I can get Solidworks to run.

But then it quickly closes afterwards after telling me "Could not obtain a license for Solidworks Standard. Invalid (inconsistent) license key."

What am I missing?
