I have read some websites on it. Im being told to do different registry entries but some are contradicting themselves. If someone can shed some light on this aspect, thatd be greatly appreciated. :h:

If you're on w10 follow @PsyTom tip, it will work.

However if you're on w11, then:
  1. Right-click any blank area in the taskbar and then select Taskbar settings;
  2. When the Settings app opens select Personalization -> Taskbar on the left panel, turn off the Task view toggle switch on the right panel.
or:
  1. Open Registry Editor and browse to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced, then double-click the DWORD ShowTaskViewButton in the right pane;
  2. Change its value data to 0 and click OK.
You might need to reboot for changes to apply.
