I have a problem printing using HP printer on Windows 11 23H2.
I couldn't print any document. Whether a pdf, word, excel, etc.
After reading some info, i found out that Windows 11 has a bug.
Something related to spool printer.

Are there any work around so that i can use my printer again?

As far as I know, microsoft has named all printers HP with one of the latest updates.
Try to update your system to see if your problem is solved.
I think it has published an update for this, you are not the only one.
I guess your printer was working before?

Hry

I'm sorry to hear about the printing issue you're facing with your HP printer on Windows 11 23H2. It can be quite frustrating when technical glitches get in the way. While the spooler bug in Windows 11 is indeed a known issue, there are a few workarounds you can try to get your printer up and running again.

  1. Restart the Print Spooler Service:
    • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type services.msc and hit Enter.
    • Locate "Print Spooler" in the list, right-click on it, and select "Restart."
  2. Clear Print Queue:
    • Open the Run dialog again (Win + R).
    • Type cmd and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run Command Prompt as Administrator.
    • Type net stop spooler and press Enter.
    • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files.
    • Type net start spooler and press Enter.
  3. Update Printer Drivers:
    • Visit the HP official website and ensure you have the latest printer drivers for Windows 11.
  4. Reinstall the Printer:
    • Remove the existing printer from your devices.
    • Reinstall the printer with the latest drivers.
  5. Check for Windows Updates:
    • Make sure your Windows 11 is up-to-date. Microsoft might release a fix for known issues through updates.
  6. Use Compatibility Mode:
    • Right-click on the application you're trying to print from.
    • Select 'Properties' and go to the 'Compatibility' tab.
    • Check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose an older version of Windows.
  7. Contact HP Support:
    • If all else fails, reach out to HP customer support for assistance. They might have specific solutions or updates related to your printer model and Windows 11.

@choli

If you have an older HP printer then it could be a problem with the driver not being compatible with Windows 11.
When I upgraded to Windows 11 I was forced to abandon 2 old HP printers because HP did not release W11 specific drivers for them.

It's SOLVED!!!
Yeay..

Ok..
Here's my verdict:

The culprit behind all of this was: My USB Hub 2.0.
This device apparently didn't have enough power (or the ability) to run my 2336 HP All-in-One printer.
So it always stuck at print queue.

When i tested using my laptop and use its USB port, it worked perfectly normal.
It makes me wonder.
What's wrong with my printer.
Then i realized that i'm using 2.0 USB hub.
Not a USB port from the back of my motherboard.
Changed it into USB port from my motherboard.
Turns out, it worked perfectly normal.
Damn...

Then i decided to purchase a USB 3.0 from Orico brand.
Tested using it.
And works perfectly normal.
Tested also using DVDRW. Works ok also.

TL;DR
Pay attention on your hardware.
You never know the ability of your hardware.
