Description
PeBuilder is a "constructor" that will allow you to assemble a boot disk or flash drive yourself. From the available set of plug-ins, you can configure a set of programs and utilities necessary only for you. Everything is very accessible and understandable.

Additional Information:
The Windows Live CD is a boot disk based on the Windows XP/2003 distribution. The Windows Live CD is a good pre-installation platform, but its potential is most fully realized when performing rescue and recovery actions. By supplying such a disk with applications and utilities, you can perform a variety of tasks: Format existing hard disk partitions and create new ones Perform any operations with files on logical drives with FAT and NTFS file systems Edit the registry of the installed Windows OS Scan for viruses and / or spyware Create new accounts records and change passwords for existing ones Have access to local network and Internet resources Test and diagnose RAM, HDD, CPU
BartPE - Bart`s Preinstallation Environment, created by a man named Bart Lagerweij. After looking at WinPE, he thought about how difficult it would be to create a similar environment based on the Windows XP / 2003 distribution kit, not limited by licensing obstacles.
The main advantage of BartPE is the ability to extend its functionality through plugins. As a result, many BartPE users have started making and publishing plugins and sharing ideas on how to create them.
Simply put, a plugin is one or more files that provide the functionality of an application in the BartPE environment. The application itself may not be part of the plugin; in this case, it is assumed that the user has it. The user can choose which of the available plug-ins to install using the graphical interface of the pebuilder program. This program collects the necessary files from the directories specified by the user and creates a bootable ISO image of BartPE. The applications selected by the user are included in the Live CD at the stage of building the ISO image.

Content of plugin_dop
The Plugin_dop folder contains ready-made plugins for Pe Buildera. These plugins are either not in the distribution of the builder itself or they are of a more recent version.

DrWeb_port - DrWeb anti-virus program with fresh databases
erd - ERD Commander 2005 (system utility for working with passwords, registry, etc.)
everest - utility for displaying system configuration and diagnostics.
getdataback_for_fat - a program for recovering lost (deleted, corrupted, etc.) information from a hard drive.
insidepro - a utility for recovering system passwords
pmagic - a program for working with hard disk partitions (partition)
unpassword - the program allows you to "turn off" the password of the local Administrator
winrar - a well-known archiver
xxx_ruslang, z_ruslang - shell russifiers

Creating a Windows XPE Live CD
Install BartPE 3.1.10 exe file. Agree with the license (Annehmen). Specify the installation directory. And click the Installieren button.
For convenience, in the c:\Program Files\pebuilder3110 directory, create an empty WinXP_SP2 subdirectory and an empty ISO subdirectory.
Copy the Windows XP SP2 distribution to the WinXP_SP2 directory.
In the c:\Program Files\pebuilder3110\plugin directory, copy additional plugins from the plugin_dop folder.
Run the pebuilder.exe file.
Agree with the license.
Specify the path to the directory where the Windows XP SP2 distribution is located.
Enable the Create ISO image button and specify the path to the ISO folder to the pebuilder.iso file.
Click the Plugins button.
See which plugins are enabled and which are disabled. (WMI v1.0.3 plugin can be disabled with the Enable/Disable button).
Click the Close button.
Click the Build button.
The constructor starts.
When finished (if there are no errors), exit the constructor and check the result.
There should be a pebuilder.iso file in the ISO folder.
The BartPE folder should contain a constructor assembly (an iso file is created from this folder).
If the constructor's work ended with errors, then there will be no iso file. Open the pebuilder.log text file and look through the search (by error) for errors and fix them. Checking the image
If you have a virtual machine installed, then connect the pebuilder.iso file as a CD-ROM.
If there is no virtual machine, burn the image on an RW disk, and start the computer from it, after setting the initial boot from CD-ROM in the BIOS.
Check disk performance.

Create a bootable flash drive
Install a flash drive and run PEtoUSB (check only EnableDiskFormat, if an access error occurs, then put Force Volume Dismount), if it doesn’t boot at all,
then you can also try to put Enable LBA. Specify the location of the files of the already assembled "constructor" BartPE, and check the box Enable File Copy. Run Start and wait for completion.
