Long Path Tool is a lightweight, compact and portable application designed to quickly delete, copy or rename long path files from the computer by moving them to the Recycle Bin. A user may have experienced problems accessing, managing and even renaming files that have more than 255 characters; this utility has been made to answer this particular scenario.

The main window is minimalist and allows users to perform several actions with a few mouse clicks. User has direct access to the files and folders stored on its PC. Hence a user can easily browse for and select the items to be deleted. Moreover, Long Path Tool provides a powerful built-in search engine that can scan the computer and display the paths with name lengths bigger than a specified value. The generated results can be exported to plain text. Furthermore, the selected files can be deleted, removed, or copied to another directory.

Another essential feature is that the application does not delete the files permanently from a user computer, as it moves them to the Recycle Bin, and the user can easily retrieve them. Compared to other similar applications, it proves to be pretty easy to handle. No special computer skills are required when working with this tool, and even less experienced users can make the most out of every single built-in feature.

Long Path Tool proves to be a reliable software application that can delete the blocked and long path files from user computer quickly and with minimum effort. It does not take much time to get used to working with this utility, and it can be mastered by beginners and experts alike.

Yep, like when you spend over a day copying 4tb to a backup drive at 20mbps and Windumb tells you. "Waaaah! Names to long, can't copy. GL finding which files I couldn't copy among the thousands of files."
