Hi guys im after alittle help well big help, my friend it totaly blind and he uses Jaws text to speech but it is out of date and they want him to pay £375 to update it..... the version is v17 please help !!!

@streamer200 kindly tell him to use the default Windows Narrator which comes in windows 8.1 and above....

its the best (although it is extremely irritating for me as it starts automatically from nowhere) but it would be of great help to him...

it comes by default and so, its free too

I know but he is old and set in his ways his writes books and does lots of things on his computer!!

He somewhere given a solution to member couple of months ago. A member started a conversation and tagged all staff members. i didn't found that conversation. If any staffer have that conversation then kindly tag this user.

tom & M4 also recommended something real good.
I hope aXe gonna fix it. i tagged him when he will come online he will look into this.

Thank you guys for all your help!! Im going to try the windows narrater see if it works okay for him he is so lost with out his computer he writes books its his life is the computer........
