then it is simple get the windows 10 PRO that have all the driver and system files in it then activate it and grab ALL the updates there are ..
then also install the mouse driver

i use the windows 10 PRO from here and activate it with the kms permanent online activation that we have here also
after that i did the updates from microsoft and now everything works smooth

Download the drivers from manufacture site, install drivers, restart and re-install the program

The error you get is because either some DLL from windows or the mouse software hasn't been registered, due to them being deleted or corrupted or never being there, to begin with. That can become an issue with some light versions of windows as they have several needed files missing. Now if you have an indication as to which DLL is missing you can find it on the net and after downloading it register it using the regsvr32 command using an admin command prompt, for example
regsvr32 c:\path\Name_Of_The_DLL.dll and replace the path and name with the correct values.

If that doesn't fix it, maybe use a different and perhaps full version of windows if you can't leave without the mouse software.

Also, a screenshot might help see which DLL is causing this if ti shows.

ok i will tell you something now and this is real
i use a special microsoft mouse here that have 7 buttons each button is having its function ..
the normal 2 in the front and the mouse wheel .. that is like every normal mouse have ... so no problem with that
now it start on the left side i also have 2 buttons when i press the first one then it the screen depending wat you are doing it gos 1 step Back ...
when i press the 2cond one then it go's back from where i was
on the right side i have also 2 buttons when i press there the 1 one then i can delete wat is on my screen
when i press the second one then it copy the screen

and i had to download (use google) to find the correct software that is working

@Karlcollins have you try on command prompt as an admin sfc /scannow?? correct issues on Windows... then try getting the driver with Windows updates or driver booster software??

sfc/scannow command won't work because there is nothing left to correct
