Locked Black screen of death

Hi guys,
Please help me as a black screen of death is not letting me restart my laptop. It just showing black screen.
*NOT WORKING*
System repair
System image recovery
Can't take backup via HP recovery.
What to do please help. I do not want to lose my important data.
?
My files under downloads and desktop files are not showing for backup. {See below pic}
All my C:\ files showing in D:\
God knows why ?
If tried for taking backup showing message "user selected files are not found".
But there are the folder *see the pic please*

Make and Model of PC. Do you get manufacturers logo screen when you turn PC on? or is it black from the time you hit ON button.

i do think that it is the screencard driver ... but that is only a guess ... need more details ...

Can you connect it to an external monitor?

Can you disconnect the battery? If so do that and then long press Power button for 30 seconds to clear the system of any static charges. Then try again.
Re-seat RAM if you can and if it's easily accessible? Do you have HDD activity LED on laptop? Does it glow continuously or intermittently or not at all when you get blank screen?

If the laptop is not booting, no Bios screen then i ithink graphics card is dead need to replace if its a MXM type graphics card, i dont know but guessing. If you are hearing beep sounds 2 or 4 or 6 sounds, go to manufacturer site and check the beep sound count related with graphics or motherboard etc...

Can you connect it to an external monitor?

What's the use? Black screen with a cursor is showing every time I boot. It is not showing the explorer. Tried calling task manager even with cmd and changed the shell value in registry "explorer.exe" but on restart it again converts some ."../k cmd" language.

Yes I see a logo of windows 7 and when it ends a cursor in the middle with a black screen shows. No keys are working. Only Esc and Function keys work at the time of booting.
