Auslogics Disk Defrag Ultimate is a powerful, user-friendly and fast software application with extended functionality to defragment files and folders on a hard drive, consolidate free space and optimize file placement for top speed and maximum efficiency using different criteria, and smart algorithms and boot-time defrag technology.
Surprisingly, the application does not use a significant number of system's resources to do its job. Putting it to the test, even with priority set to high, user can continue working on its projects, while the application performs its tasks. The interface is cleverly designed to let nearly anyone accommodate in a jiffy. A list displays connected storage devices, to which the user can perform several operations, found either in the toolbar or right-click on the desired device. Additionally, users can integrate these features in the explorer context menu for enhanced ease of access.
One of the most important features the application comes equipped with is the scheduler. Once enabled, the user can fully customize when and what should be performed. Users can set the app to run its processes when the computer is idle for a given amount of time, daily, weekly, as well as monthly. Besides essential defragmentation, the application lets the user run an optimization process, considerably increasing hard disc drive's efficiency. All features can also be applied for both integrated or removable drives.
A real-time display of the memory sectors is shown, and the user can carefully analyze what is going on when a process is put in motion.
