During installation (OOBE), choose the language you want and at the first login all optional functions for the desired language will be downloaded. All languages are available and can be installed!

Thanks!!! Very nice and compact Windows 10. My computer started in just 5s with this one.
But I'm having a problem: I can't use the search bar in the task bar (enabled it with right click -> search -> show search icon). The search icon appeared but I can't type anything in it. Same with the search bar in Start Menu, it didn't appear at all when I type something (it normally would start to search immediately on my old version of Win 10).
I have tried many solution on the web but can't achieve what I want. Can someone give me a solution? Thank you.

Also @Mirkec, not sure if this is related or not but my IE11 stopped working all of a sudden. Any ideas why?



Update: Was able to run IE11 only by typing "start iexplore" in PowerShell.

@scbkcb The loop icon in the taskbar will never work when Cortana is removed (that is why is hidden) but search in the start menu and inside Windows Explorer always works fine in all my builds. You probably did some homemade additional tweaks and modification which have broken the search function. On the other side, it can be a Microsoft problem. I recently read somewhere that 1909 has a problem with the search bar in Explorer (but you can copy-paste text inside). Maybe updates I do not know. What do I know it is on your sides. See GIF below, new and clean install in VB.

Try to check in Services.msc and enable indexer and search service. If that does not work do a clean install or use third party apps like Everything and Listery (few ways better, faster and consume less resource in comparison to Windows default search function).

@players02 Internet Explorer works fine here as it should. it cannot choose to whom will work or to whom not or just stop to work without any reason/explanation. Try following go to Internet Explorer advanced properties and set as the image below suggest. Internet Explorer works fine here even without changes in options...

I really enjoyed your work on this version. Unfortunately, I'm a gamer and when I saw both in virtual and once the OS installed that I couldn't use Xbox Live I had to give up on it.It's a pity

When i try to login into mine account i receive an error where say: Can't login because edge is running with admin privileges. I think that error refers to admin windows account i think and i don't know to fix it.

after installing winaero tweaker i installed foobar2000, an audio player. i am new to win 10. so i tried setting default filetipes in favour of it. wouldnt work, it pointed me to settings-apps. there i could not overwrite ms media player. after uninstalling it i still could not set foobar as default music player. also not by filetype.
settings showed i can only set apps from ms store. how can i get rid of that behaviour?

Try to enable "GameDVR and BroadCast User Service". It should work because I did not remove anything related to Xbox!

Now all works fine, later reinstall windows.

Of course, it works fine. Sorry, but your problem has nothing with this build! Say hello to Microsoft. Try to change the "User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode" policy to Enabled to get Edge and the other Microsoft tracking apps to launch. For more info use Google deeper not only a first few links show up...

in divine settings-apps -apps&features - choose where to get apps i cannot choose. its no flip menu,. it says some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organization. and installing apps only from windows store helps protect your device.

whereas in other os i can pick anywhere/anywhere but.../ms store only

SmartScreen can be easily enabled by user-you! Filters are not removed!
Regarding the StartIsBack! It can be uninstalled and nothing will be ruined but you will not be able to use default Windows search bar because Cortana is removed! My opinion is that the Windows search does not work better and it will never be faster with indexer! Use google to see more about this! Download Everything or Listery that apps are fast and powerful!
