Quick question ive read the information on alot of these builds im trying to find the right one for me and this seems it. Could you tell me an easy way or what I would be looking for if I wanted to make sure a build has GAME MODE in the settings before I download?

Possible dumb question and I know this build is now quite old. I have been using this for some time and there has always been a problem with the file search function in Windows Explorer...I have always managed to work around it though and now I find that there is/was an explicit problem with the 1909 release that borked the Explorer file search function...it is grayed out...so I don't want to lose any of the settings I have been using now for well over 12 months and obviously Windows update is off.
So is there an easy fix just for the file search problem or can I just turn on Windows Update and hope for the best...or do I grab a later build, copy the registry from my current build and merge it into the new build once installed?

Hi - I am not sure if any of those options will work, but you could use a 3rd party app like I do. There is a app called "Everything" that is really awesome. It is also VERY FAST when searching. MUCH faster than Windows. It will search all your drives and all your folders in seconds. I believe we might even have it here on TeamOS site, but you can download it for free from the Dev's site which I think is VoidTools (dot) com.

Startback is there so you can use the search option of it.
Also you can try winaero tweaker from what I remember it has the option of search
