Reinstall and disable WU..

OR this:

and before making updates do this (to keep ur themes as they are)

located in "%windir%\System32\Shell32.dll" in order to restore it before the update do this
Mount the iso that you install from
Go to "sources" folder inside the iso
Open the install.wim with 7-zip
Navigate to "\1\Windows\System32\" and copy the "shell32.dll" to your desktop
Now go to "%windir%\System32\"
Take ownership of the file "Shell32.dll" and rename it to "Shell32.dll.old"
Copy the "Shell32.dll" from desktop to "%windir%\System32\"
Reboot

I would start over with a clean complete install.. Save files first.. And then remember above details..
