WebSite-Watcher is a comprehensive website-monitoring tool that automatically checks websites for updates and highlights changes, with support for IE, Firefox, and Opera integration, plus import and export options. This powerful yet straightforward website-monitoring tool automate daily user routine, and boost his productivity! WebSite-Watcher is ideally suited to the beginner and advanced user alike. If a user can work with an email client, the user can even work with WebSite-Watcher!
The software places a user in complete control over what gets checked, when it gets reviewed, and even how the user is notified. WebSite-Watcher allows a user to monitor favorite websites for updates and changes with a minimum of time and effort. This prevents a user from visiting each page manually looking for replacements. When changes in a page are detected, WebSite-Watcher saves the last two versions to use hard disk and highlights all differences in the text.
Many features give user control, when and how a page should be monitored for updates. For example, a user can create a list of keywords to get only an update notification when a specified keyword is available within the changed content. Furthermore, a user can enable auto-watch, set alerts on initialization, changes and/or errors, choose the method for checking web pages (e.g., screenshot), as well as run additional actions when an update is detected (e.g., play sound, open page, send email, run program, mark as read).
The bookmark file may be protected with a password. It is possible to optimize or repair the database, or re-create it from cache, minimize WebSite-Watcher to the system tray area, create newsgroups, locate duplicate bookmarks, import and export bookmarks (e.g. ZIP, CSV), synchronize two items, use a backup and restore service, as well as edit scripts, to name just a few.
WebSite-Watcher works as a client on a user computer, similar to an e-mail client. All bookmarks and configurations are stored locally on hard disk, WebSite-Watcher does not require producer servers to check pages for updates and changes.

- The check technology "Chromium/Browser" uses the entered WSW proxy configuration;

- Internet Explorer Macros improved: More types of links supported;
- Send RSS feeds by e-mail: The "full" and "headlines" buttons are no longer displayed;
- Twitter: RSS conversion improved;
- Chromium: Persist sessions cookies between checks (makes it easier to remember logins or confirmed cookie messages);
- Improvements to avoid conflicts with Virus Scanner for Chromium related modules;
- Smaller improvements when checking PDF files with the technology "Chromium/Browser";
- Certain RSS feeds could display the status that no articles are available (the feeds were however monitored correctly);
- Minor optical fixes when using Windows with a classic theme;
- Smaller fixes and improvements.
