Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery is a user-friendly software solution that provides a user with a simple way to recover and retrieve lost, accidentally deleted and formatted audio, digital photo and video files that have been removed from local and removable media. Stellar It is a great app to help a user out of a sticky situation.

The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the app is straightforward to use. Just click the blue button named ‘Recover Photo, Audio, and Video’ and choose on the drive want to recover. After the application has scanned the drive, it will give a list of all the images sorted by file type which it has retrieved. Furthermore, a user can save the scan file information to restore the files for the further analysis (in the DAT format).

To scan for an individual item, the advanced tab houses all the options for recovering specific file types, etc. Here a user can preview files, view their name, format and size, select or deselect all files, as well as stop the scanning process. The recovery time varies according to the type and size of the media it is stored on, and the size and type of the image.

If you’re unable to see the file format of the items you wish to recover in the supported file types feature of the software, you can either edit any of the existing file types or add new file headers manually or automatically. This feature makes this product the best photo recovery software available in the market. It gives the application extended flexibility and increases its utility.

I will try this as well with the iTunes file

It managed to repair a photo, to a grey image haha - at least its readable at least!
