The data could then be saved to a locally attached storage device, an SSH server, a Samba Server, or a Network File System share. The clone file can then be used to restore the original when needed.

Disk Erasing
PartedMagic comes with easy to use solutions for conventional overwrite. Internal Secure Erase. Wiping of only Free Space.

Disk Partitioning Software?

When Parted Magic Secure Erase is issued against a SSD drive, all of its cells will be marked as empty.

Benchmarking Software?
A benchmark program tests the relative performance of computer by running a number of standard tests and trials against it.

Supported Hardware:
- PartedMagic requires at least a 686 processor with 1GB of RAM.
- 512MB in Live mode.
- Compatible with Secure Boot Windows machines.
- Runs well on Intel Macs.

Acronis had been my to go to for cloning,
Hiren for rescue disks and benchmarking
having all those features in one package is nice to have!

I mostly use macrium for cloning or easeus to do
then frankenstein combinations to put on CD or DVD just in case with external or internal disc reader for those very old and non -accepting pcs
