you could use raid 0 if your motherboard supports it, but you would lose storage space if both drives aren't the same size.

there is something called microsoft storage spaces built into windows but i don't think it can be used on a boot drive.

if you have an amd ryzen processor and a b450 or x470 motherboard you can use AMD storemi technology i believe.

i'm just throwing out ideas.

60g ssd
1tb hdd

raid is a no go........
storage space let me look intothat

solved for now... that storage sense i never tried or thought of i mean it works.. but im concerned its too simple it only changes apps, docs, music, photos, movies, and offline maps...

how do i configure the ssd to also save on hdd
This puzzled me for a little bit but I think i got it from everything else you mentioned..
Broski just configure your apps and browser to save most stuff to HDD .. Like torrent client etc.
Browsers go to settings and set them to either ask where to save or set to save to HDD ..
What you forget to set and gets by can always be manually move as needed...
