I hope I can post this here but anyway, I have brought an ASUS H270F Motherboard and every time when I try to turn it on, this happened's:
POST State
CPU_LED
DRAM_LED

First, it goes to CPU_LED and passes on to DRAM_LED and from there, it will hang on DRAM_LED. Does anyone know why this is happening? I looked everywhere and find no answer to this. Thanks!

Memory Standard :
DDR4 3300(O.C.)/ 3000(O.C.)/ 2400/ 2133

* Due to Intel chipset limitation, DDR4 2400MHz memory frequency is only supported by 7th Generation Intel processors. Higher memory modules will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR4 2400MHz.
** Due to Intel chipset limitation, DDR4 2133MHz and higher memory modules on 6th Generation Intel processors will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR4 2133MHz.

There could be a lot of issues that are causing this and since you didn't provide basic info, I'll just name a few generic ones. Please tell us the CPU type as well as the number and brand of Ram sticks.

  • Make sure you update to the latest bios. Asus fixed several issues with Dram compatibility. Check the Asus site for module compatibility.
  • Check bios for Ram timings ( if you set manually) and/or load the XMP profile.
  • If there are 2 or more sticks try with each one separately to see if you can boot.
  • Make sure of correct placement. The slot closest to the CPU is actually the 3rd Slot. Try one memory stick in the 3rd slot from CPU.
  • Look carefully at the diagram in your MB Manual (section 1.1.4). Dimm slots are named A1,A2,B1,B2. A1 is closest to the CPU. If you have a single module then it is placed in slot A2. If you have two modules then they are placed in A2 and B2. Ensure the modules are clipped in and pushed down properly.
  • If a single stick boots in one slot and not in another... RMA the motherboard
  • Having said that, the motherboard is notoriously buggy. If you can ask for a replacement, if the above fails, go for it.
  • Last but not least, though it's very rare, it could be the CPU. If you can try with a different Ram stick AND with a different CPU it will help you a lot to figure out what's wrong.
Question: Have you ever boot successfully in the past and now you cant, or you never could?

I hope it helped.

Here is what I have:
CPU: i7-7700K

RAM:
Crucial 4gb DDR4-2400 UDIMM 1.2v CL17
CORSAIR ValueSelect 16GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM 2400 (PC4-19200)

I could never boot successfully. The same thing happened when I tried it on MSI H270F motherboard.

7th or 8th issue might be the reason.

Just to be on the safe side, can you try those ram sticks on a different PC/Mobo? If they boot on another PC then you know its the mobo 99%. If they don't boot, then it's the sticks. I said 99% cause, even tho its EXTREMELY rare, it could be the power supply unit and/or CPU.

I assume you try to boot without anything else connected such as Graphic Card, hard disk, etc right? If you do disconnect all and try. Also, give a try to use 1 stick in all 4, if you haven't tried already.

I have tried to put RAM in all sockets including Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory but nothing happened, and the same thing happened when I had everything connect. I would normally hear beeping sounds.

@FutureSelf, I did a quick Google search with the words "DRAM_LED Problem". Many solutions were shown, and some specific to Asus.
Have you tried it yet?

I tried it already. I could be wrong but it might be the wrong memory sticks. It worked on ASUS B270F. So I'll give it a try and let you all know in the future or soon. Thank you all for trying to help me out!
